Here are some A's to your Q's

These are some basic answers, but you are welcome to contact us directly with queries, I am super keen to chat! It is however important to go through these before you order.

How long does an order take?
After your order is placed and confirmed via email, we will start as soon as possible. We will ensure that your dresses reach you within 4-8 weeks. At the moment, the designer is also the only seamstress, so in peak season, the order might take slightly longer, but we will inform you if that is the case.
However, we do encourage you to order at least 2 to 3 months in advance, to ensure that there is enough time for alterations – just in case.   

How to order from the “Design your own dress” option?
First, choose a top style. Go onto the shop option, decide on a top style and select to start your order. Then you can decide on the skirt design and other add-ons. Choose your colour, and size (by using your measurements) and specify the other required information.
Easy as that.

What if I need to cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel before we started making your dresses, you will unfortunately forfeit your 50% deposit. Once we started the process, you will unfortunately not be able to cancel your order.

What fabric do you use?
Currently we only use Bonbon fabric. This is a high quality, opaque and super comfy fabric that adjusts to fit your body and appear tailored. It is a comfortable and stretchy fabric to ensure that you are dancing the whole evening.

Why must I create an account?
An account will make things easier for yourself. You will be able to see your orders, track orders, keep dresses in your basket till next time and edit your basket.

Can I order a custom design?
We provide you with a large variety of styles as well as add-ons, but unfortunately, we do not do any customizations other than what is available on our website.

Can you use a different fabric?
No, we only use the Bonbon at the moment, which is the best fabric in our opinion as it adjusts according to the body to give a tailored appearance.

Why is the sleeve, add-ons or jumpsuit style not available with the top I want to order?
Not all styles and options are compatible with all the tops. The jumpsuit is only compatible with certain tops, and most sleeves can only be attached to suitable tops, the same goes for the add-ons.

What if the colour is not what I wanted?
If you are looking for a very specific colour, please inform us on your order form, so that we can ensure that it is the colour that you want. We can also send you colour swatches at the cost of R99.

Can I see your colour swatches?
You are welcome to order as many colour swatches as you want to (if it is available), delivered at your door for R99. Just pop us an email.

Can I please get a quote?
Yes, and you don’t have to wait for a response! Please complete an order by following the steps to see the final price. All items are priced separately (skirts, tops, sleeves, extras), so you will have to complete all the steps before you will see the price.

How does payment work?
You can make a card payment on our website, this is safer for us as well as for you as the third party system ensures the security of the transaction. You can manage your account easily this way, and will ensure that we do not to miss any orders that tries to “slip by”.
Alternatively we accept EFT payments.

Do you offer refunds or returns?
Since we make the dresses per order, specifically for you, it is not possible for us to take back your order, since it is unlikely that someone else will order the exact dress. Be sure that you choose the correct dress when ordering.

How can we split the payment if the bridesmaid pays part of or their entire dress?
If this is the case, we suggest that you use the EFT payment option, where each bridesmaid can pay their own dress via EFT, by using the reference code provided. We will only start with the entire order once all the bridesmaids have paid their deposit.
Alternatively, each bridesmaid can complete their own order. 

What if the dress does not fit?
The dresses are made of a super stretchy fabric, thus, the dress can accommodate a size smaller and larger than ordered, and fits almost perfectly without alterations. You can also add your measurements to the order form, and we will help you choose a size (If you are unsure about your size, please fill in your measurements and we’ll assist with the right size). All our dresses have an additional built-in seam allowance, so that a seamstress can easily alter the dress to be smaller or larger.

Speaking of alterations, do you offer alterations?
Unfortunately not, however, on request we are happy to provide you with contacts if needed.

What if my bust, waist and hip measurements are all in different size categories?
Are you a Kim Kardashian? No problem, please email us your measurements so that we can advise you on the best fit. 

What if I my measurements are between two sizes?
First, see if your measurements lean more to one size, if not, we suggest to take the bigger size of the 2. The fabric that we use is nice and stretchy, so both sizes will work for you, but going a size bigger is the best option.

Can I come fit at your studio?
We are only an online store and we cannot accommodate visits to our magic factory.

What if the bridesmaid is pregnant?
Please do let us know if a bridesmaid is pregnant, we will move the waistline up, just below the bust, therefor allowing elegant flow over the belly, also being more flattering. We will also add length, if required. Ps. The half circle skirts are perfect for a preggie-belly, and what is best, you will be able to wear the dress after your pregnancy. Please also include additional measurements as indicated.

What if I am super short or super long?
We make all our full-length dresses 115 cm from the waist (smallest part of the bodice), to allow for shoes. If you think you are shorter or longer, please measure from the waist (while wearing your correct shoes), such as indicated on the instructions, and let us know what your measurements are according to this, and what’s more, no extra cost. If you are not sure how tall you’ll be with you heels, you can always have the dress altered once you know your height.

What underwear can I wear with this dress?
All our dresses so far are designed to accommodate a strapless bra, and in some cases a normal bra. To ensure you look classy, it is advised to wear seamless underwear that shows the least amount of lines, so stay away from underwear that is not seamless, or underwear with lace.

What if I want the dress to fit looser?
You can choose a size larger than your measurements, but do not order 2 or more sizes larger than what you measured. Please also indicate on the notes section of order form that you want a slightly looser fit.

I want to send the dresses to more than one address?
Please email us with your query (include what dress should go to what address), and we’ll make sure the dresses reach the right persons.

Can I come pick up my order?
We are an online store only and we cannot accommodate visits to our magic factory.

What if I need the dress sooner than promised?
You are welcome to request a rush order at extra cost, please enquire in order to get a quote
